The Canadian journalists for Freedom of Expression had a broken down, poorly configured Drupal 6 website and wanted to modernize. Their requirements for an integrated CRM, donations and membership meant it was economical for them to move to the NationBuilder platform to take advantageb of the all-in-one capabilities for non-profits.

The companion site to the Coal is Clean satire, Coal is Dirty delivers the dirty truth about coal using a social-media driven open source CMS.

Brinkman Group came to us needing to update and modernize their entire web portfolio. WIth six companies and around ten websites, this was a big task. We proposed a Drupal solution that leveraged the Domain Access module in order to consolidate control and economize while maintaining unique URLs for the various properties. Over one year we have launched siz sites for Brinkman. Five on a single Drupal install and one on NationBuilder.

Brinkman and Associates treeplanting operations required an updated website for recruiting treeplanters. We suggested NationBuilder for this purpose for a number of reasons. First, Brinkman was not using a CRM to track applicants over the years. Second, we suggested they could use the NationBuilder platform to build a social hub for the planters. Treeplanting is  very much a social and community activity undertaken by the digital generation. WIth its social media integration and solid support for sophisticated sign-up and communications, NationBuilder is a good fit. 

Catskill Mountainkeepers are working to preserve the major watshed in New York State. They have been working hard to prevent fracking and recenty were part of of a big victory in New York State. State Governor Cuomo announced recently that fracking will not be allowed. We're proud to have designed and implemented their NationBuilder instance and we look forward to heping them move forward with their goals.

The Nuu-Cha-Nulth nation has been struggling with the federal government for six years to exercise their fishing rights. We designed a built an only campaign platform them to support their efforts.

Our friends at SumofUs wanted to spoof the more questionable claims in Suncor's advertising strategy. We designed and built them the website they wanted using Drupal and some innovative theming. The entire site is one page.

A Time Top 25 blog in 2011, DeSmogBlog is a world-famous project that has successfully countered the false advertising campaigns of climate polluters. We designed and built the second and third (current) iterations of this ground-breaking PR project. Built using Drupal CMS, the site supports multiple authors, video, a directory of resources and multiple social media initiatives. Desmogblog is our anchor project, built in collaboration with james Hoggan and Associates.

Rob Fleming is our favorite MLA and a friend of the company. Take two of his website focusses more on helping his constiuents get fast access to information and showcasing Rob's work in the legislature.

Responsible Endowments Coalition is a Multinational organization aiming to convince universities across the USA and Canada to divest from Fossle fuels. We worked with them to create a NationBuilder platform that works for recruiting and fundraisong and keeps REC in touch with their Alumni network as well. NationBuilder is a perfect fit for this organization.

The BCGEU website is an multi-award-winning site that helps this large union serve a wide variety of members and communications objectives.

Horgan For BC was the website for the dark horse BC NDP leadeship bid of John Horgan. The online portion of the camapign was widely recognized as the best of the contest.

BCNDP Caucus website was designed to promote both the BC NDP Caucus as a whole as well as individual MLAs. Built on Drupal CMS.

A hard-hitting expose site that allows viewers of the film Greedy Lying Bastards to take action on what they have just learned. From the site:

“Greedy Lying Bastards” investigates the reason behind stalled efforts to tackle climate change despite consensus in the scientific community that it is not only a reality but also a growing problem placing us on the brink of disaster.

We worked with this Washington, DC-based advocacy group to help them present a better user experience for their new activism platform. We provided ground-up user experience refactoring and branding. This site presented a big challenge with mysriad user functions and content types. It was important to provide a consistent and comfortable environment while helping CAN members understand the power of the platform.
